it will fit. trust me! I moved everything but my couch in my tC. (I got a new tv and bed shipped!) but dressers, hall tables, big coffee table ect. listed to the dorn guy or girl (sorry forgot who said it) they got the right idea. the kids don't need the foot room. just help them out of the back. you could always go brittney spears style and hold the baby! haha

Can't the van people get a rooftop carrier? Or maybe you could just trade your car for an xB?
Don't underestimate how much you can cram in the tC, and just remember you don't need rear window visibility as long as you have both side mirrors. Pile it up to the headliner. And don't forget to stop at "South of the Border"!

With military packing strategies, it can be done. Find someone who was in the Army. They'll show you how.

you can remove the trunk floor so that you can tuck little things into the areas around the spare, and then start stacking on top of that and so on. if you end up buying somthing i would go w/ the roof rack, w/ the hitch you are going to cause alot more weight towards the rear of the car which is not good since your car is a fwd. with the roof rack, the weight will still be evenly distributed.
