Default Good replacement wipers for an 08 tC?

My tC is approaching 45,000 miles, and I've yet to replace the wipers. But lately they've been providing poor performance and I'd like to replace them. Are there any brands/models of wiper blades that are considered the best for the tC?

I recommend Rain-X Latitude Wiper Blades, they are a little more expensive then other brands but definitely work great.

I've used several sets of afttermarket wipers and they never worked well, i recommend staying with oem wipers and you can always replace the rubber insert which makes it cheaper

I had the Rain-x whippers on my passat wagon... They were good sometimes, terrible others. They didn't seem to like cold much.

Currently, I just replaced the tc's factory whippers with some Duralast cheap-o's from autozone. No complaints yet, but I doubt they'll last as long as the OEM's did.

I have had the michelin's sold at costco and the rain-x latitudes (I believe) and haven't had any complaints from either one. I actually like the rain-x more.

Don't fix what ain't broken. If OEM lasted you 45K miles then why not replace them with the same?

I would just stick with the OEM replacement inserts. You don't really need to replace the entire assembly if its still in good shape.

^ I agree, I've tried a bunch of aftermarket. None have kept up performance as long as the OEMs did. Now I just buy the inserts.

I wasn't impressed with the OEM blades. I bought Bosch Icon Wipers. They are not cheap, but are IMO the best wipers on the market. They have a nice look too.
