we should have a meet at the dragon. i have only been there once and its only about a 30 min drive from my house There are a bunch of people from clubsciontc.com planning on having a meet there on october 16. I plan on going.

 

I have relatives 20min from the DRAGON. Yes, you have to say it in all caps.

Needless to say, I've been driving the DRAGON since I was 16. I'm 30. It never gets old. It IS awesome. ...minus the cops that now hang out on it from time to time because its so popular now.

 

the time we went we seen two cops... one was sitting at one of the "pull over areas" and we went by at about 40 (speedlimit is 25 i think) but he didnt hit the blue lights or anything and the other cop we seen was just as we were getting back to the tn side we were pulled over at the end letting the brakes and everything cool down. she stopped and asked us if everything was ok and we said "yea everything is great just giving the cars a break" and she even asked if we were having fun.She just told us to be careful. From everything i have heard about the dragon is that the cops wont mess with you unless they see you cross the center line (which is super bad b/c of all the motorcycles that ride it).

Nick! yea we will see how that racelands hold up after a day on the dragon....that will probably put quite a bit of stress on them. we might as well start saving boxes to send them back on the 17th LOL hopefully we wont have to do that though.
