Find a low cost traffic attorney where you live and hire him, it will be worth it

Uhh, nope. As long as he got your D/L number and your plate number on the ticket, the citation's valid. Better get ready for some traffic school, or a point on your record. Don't forget to follow up w/ the court re. your ticket even if you haven't received any correspondence from them. GL!

x2.

open yellow pages, pick out a traffic ticket attorney, pay anywhere from 20-60 bucks to get it taken care of. no points no school no nothing.

edit: fight it for the fact that you were speeding.

You were speeding, end of story.

They're not gonna drop the ticket over 1 letter.

Just man up and deal with your ticket, there's no getting outta this one. And if you try to fight it over some that stupid reason, the judge will be less sympathetic.

I don’t think an attorney would help you get of this one, at least not solely based on the fact that your ticket says IC instead of tC. My b/f got a ticket in his Evo and the cop wrote it as a Mitsubishi Roadracer (lame) and the ticket was still valid, still had to pay--

i had a cop write the wrong date on my ticket.
got an attorney, and he said that doesnt matter, theres no way itll get thrown out.
so dont waste your money hiring one.
and the cops write on almost every one of my tickets Toyota Scion...it doesnt matter
own up to the fact that you were speeding, pay the ticket, and have a nice day.

if you were speeding...just pay it and learn your lesson. if you weren't speeding then fight it. simple as that!

I got a ticket on May 15th and the cop wrote my court date (if I wish to appear) of May 10th , in the past. I got a lawyer for $350 and he said that I was improperly served and has a good chance of getting it dismissed. My new court date is next Tuesday. I'll let you know what happens. So in some cases the date does matter, depends on which date your talking about.

i would go in by yourself. tell the cop before the judge appears that you will pay the ticket, but you don't want the points. as long as they get your $$ they'll be happy and so will your insurance co.

If it said brown Ford F150 you would have an out. IC instead of TC would be a real long shot, but anything can happen depending on what judge you get.

Thats not Improperly Served. But either way I have a feeling you just wasted 350 dollars on a 100 dollar ticket

haha looked like he decided to spend more than the outcome of it. dude you got caught speeding which you should of not done and yet you got caught red handed by the cop. end of story and stop crying about getting out of it because the chances are that it won't happen, a fix-it ticket would be another story but this isn't. grow up because you'll keep speeding and they will keep catching you until your license is suspended.
