apparently my birthday is 15-may-1986 , i drive a sliver 2007 chevrolet xb, and as a huge surprise to myself: i'm black...

this is me and the car i got the ticket in:

i still had to pay impound fees, lawyers fees, court fees, driving school fees, i'm on supervision for 6 months, and probation for a year. absolutely great since my 21st birthday is next thursday (19-jun-1987... since i doubt you looked through my profile or even bothered to do the math...)

in america, the police are quite useless, not to mention our legal system acting like some kid in a ____ing xb chirping 2nd like he was doing a brakestand in a corvette... and treating him the same as any murderer, rapist, or thief.

america is a joke, pay the fine, and quit whining like a 16 year old. - at least you didnt spend the night in the poorest town in illinois's jail with a crackhead named ezikiel.

With that much wrong info I would have thought you could get out of that ticket... did you have an attorney for that? Getting a few details wrong is one thing, but getting the car that wrong and getting your race wrong seems rediculous...

yeah, the dumb shmuck of a lawyer took a plea deal of guilty of drag racing, which was written out of the illinois law... thinking then he could get it bounced... nope... the judge hit me with the new street racing law, AND threatened to have my car seized by the state and sold at auction... then to prove that he's a hip-and-happenin-viagra-poppin', 68 year old judge in tune with american youth... he likened me to hulk hogan's dumb ___ kid that DRUNKENLY wrapped his supra around a palm tree and gimped his friend... all i did was chirp into second because i was tired and let of the clutch too quickly on damp pavement, i just happened to be next another souped up car... yes, we were profiled.

long story short: the judge was a ____ing ____t, and i can't even say "well at least i'm free" because i'm stuck in this ____ty country till may of next year, after which - i'm going to canada after i renounce my american citizenship.

aorry for ranting all in your thread, but trust me, a ticket for 15 over is nothing compared to what coulda happened, i mean let's face it, any cop could run you in for anything, botch all the paperwork, and you're still screwed.

and no... the chewbacca defense will not work.

well, my "dumb nerd fat a$$" is obviously better than you are seeing as you felt the need to troll, and call names out of nowhere...

...plus, i'm much smarter than you, and quite probably much better paid than you are.

...well, unless you're working in a genetics lab modifying porcine oocytes to secrete human bio-protiens, and have human-compatible livers... wait... i suppose that does make me a "nerd", which would be the opposite of "dumb" which you had also stated...

as for me being fat... i could always lose weight... you'll always be worth nothing more than a ****-flavored lollipop.

so... let me see, you first call me something completely oxy-moronic, and follow-up with an obvious jibe about my rubenesque appearance, that sounds like it came out of seventh grade, which is where i thought we left insults like that...

now mind your manners... i'll see you next year in ames.

i have no interest in posting back in this thread, from the start with the OP's question which is really dumb it should of just been locked. he isn't gonna learn his lesson until they keep pulling him over and suspend his license and then when he can't drive hopefully he will understand what he should stat doing and that is not speed like a moron. nuf of this thread already.

People that always complain about tickets and get traffic lawyers. Does it REALLY make sense to spend 2-5 times more then what the ticket would be to simply say you "won" or to get out of paying it.

I mean....COMMON!

Well the fine for the ticket, had I paid it, was $150 and the lawyer is $350. there is a $200 cost to me to get this ticket dismissed or reduced. If I did not go the lawyer path then I would pay $150 and and additional $170 a year for three years due to Insurance increase ( I already have one ticket) as well as the points on my record. So for me fighting the ticket was the path I chose, for someone else it maybe different.
