Today, two weeks after I placed my order, I now have a VIN, well, a partial VIN. The sales manager gave me the last 8 digits of the VIN. Is this normal? He says that my tC should hit Long Beach September 11th and that I should expect to have it 10 days later. Sound about right?

If I actually receive it on the 21st, that would be 4-1/2 weeks from order to delivery. I'm not holding my breath though.

sounds 'bought right, the first of the VIN will be JTKDE177, or JTKDE167 if it has side air bags
