I want to get an exhaust system for my car. The 2 that i am intrested in are the HKS HI Power and the Greddy EVO2. I love the sound of the HKS but im thinkin i might not want the JDM style slanted exhaust, and im pretty sure the evo2 isnt. Does anyone have a good sound clip of the EVO2 or have the Greddy EVO2 on their car that can tell me about it?

I got the HKS about a week ago, and I love the look and sound but thats imo...

 

HKS is cheaper but louder than the evo2

 

i think the evo2 is awesome. i have it and the sound is really nice. power gain is nice, too. most exhausts sound pretty cheap in comparison.

 

evo2 + midpipe sounded perfect for me.

if u have a greddy evo2 be careful what header you choose it can get loud pretty fast. I loved the sound of the evo2 exhaust added alphawerks headers and got loud.

 

i have the evo2 and loved it since day one. goin on 2 years and sounds brand new every drive.. buttttt from hearing others that have added headers it may sound raspy, loud, and kinda rice..

 

Yea thats what someone told me, i wasnt planning on puttin on headers anyway for that same reason.

I think you should go with Evo2. You'll love the deep rumble.

 

LOVED my Greddy EVO2. I recently upgraded to a full 3 inch exhaust since I am turbo'd now. I'm selling my lightly used EVo2 now though.
