ground effects and mud guards

Default ground effects and mud guards

i just talked to my dealer today and he told me that the car i ordered cant be customized the way i want it. he said that the mud guards cant be put on the car if it has the ground effects. he mentioned something about getting them custom done. how hard would that be do to? i need some help get the mud guards and get them custom done or dont get them. thank you

There is a mud guard thread somewhere else in this forum and it talks about the customazation I believe...

Here are some custom mudguards for you:



Seriously, if you do want mudguards with the body kit you have two options:
1) Something similar to the above, which won't fit or look all that great, but will serve your purpose
2) Expensive custom-made molded fiberglass and/or plastic mudguards which could easily cost you as much as you body kit

Honestly, if it was my car, I would forget about the mudguards for now and just hope that Scion might make a set that fit the factory body kit in the future.

Obviously fiberglass alone wouldn't work, but unless you have somebody custom make them out of urethane or ABS, you'll have to use some combination of fiberglass and plastic. It's not impossible and I'm sure it's been done before.
