So today when I was trying to get rid of my "maint req" light after the service was done, I turned the key to acc, where the electronics work, but the engine is still off, then I pressed the odometer stick for like 5 sec and then this came on ... " 5 up".... I was like wtf? and so I turned the key back to off and then I tried it again and this time is said "5 down"....and I don't know what that means, I just left it at "5 down." can someone please tell me what that is I searched for it but nothing.

 

Never seen or heard of this. Try disconnecting the battery and seeing if it resets.

 

it's for the needle jump.

you left it in TRIP when you did it.. instead of in ODO like you're supposed to for the reset maint req'd light.

 

Ive messed with the Sweep before, but it never said, Up or Down? It just said On or OFF.

 

its either -5hp or +5hp.
