Well this is the first problem I've had with the TC so far, not sure how it happened. I'm thinking it's because I washed my car yesterday and the noise just started this afternoon.

Anyone have this problem before? I'm thinking of spraying some WD40 on it, or maybe taking it to the dealer.

*the noise only happens when my hatch is just about all the way opened.

 

I don't know too much about the stock dampers, but I wouldn't use wd40. It's a degreaser. You would end up eatting the natural grease. Grease it instead.
