Default Very Easy to diy

Parts cost $32 each at Advanced Auto Parts. All you need is a flat head screw driver to pop off the little clips on the ball joint and a way to prop up the hatch. All in all it took about 10 minutes to change out both.

The clip flew off the first strut so use caution when popping those off. The new struts just snap into place.

That was actually really helpful. Do you know if there's any way to repair the hatch supports? Or is repairing them the only option?

just replied to you on the other post you put up.. no there isn't a way to repair the struts, just replace them. I guess you could repair the old ones but would cost more than just buying new ones and installing them. Much easier too!
