This winter i ll try to buy TRD springs, TRD supercharger and maybe RS1 Lip and new wheels

for some reason or another, i didn't think you were able to register the tC in canada? ohwell. congrats!

 

there was something about this a while ago, because of how they just passed legislation that cars need X, Y and Z by this year, so i think there is only one model year of the tC that is allowed to be registered in canada, can't remember which one though, it was either the 2006 or 2007 model year i think...

 

yeah, the tC wasn't meeting the Canadian Safety Law, exept the 2007 model.

I got mine in May this year,so i was restricted to a 2007 model but in July the pass a new law that Canada adopt Euro & USA safety Law, so right now every US car will be importable to Canada.

Nice. I drove into Montreal last December in mine; it was interesting feeling like the only tC in the area.

 

Just got back from Montreal/st luc. It was fun. i was mad when i found out that tc's didn't exist up there. lol

 

yeah, i think it is stupid that laws prohibit registering cars that haven't been tested by the government.

sure, this car is safe enough for the japanese and the europeans, but is it safe enough for americans?

total load of crap, i want an r34 skyline dammit!

And yes with a tC i've got a lot of attention, every light, parking lot etc.
i park my car in front of my appartement so i can see it anytime, i'm getting paranoid :p

 

I Dont think thats the reason the R34 wasnt released here. The car was too good for our country. It made all American cars look like complete trash.

 

lots of cars make american cars look like garbage, supra, rx-7, lanver evo's, impreza wrx sti, nissan z etc.

the real reason as i understand it, for why the skylines were never avaliable in the US is because they are only avaliable in right hand drive, because if the steering wheel was on the other side, the steering column would get in the way of the turbochargers, and thus the whole engine compartment would have to be redesigned, and the cost to do that, plus the lack of projected sales in the US made them decide that it wasn't worth it.

 

Welcome, I've taken my tC to Tronoto a few times and always get a ton a looks, even when it was stock.

Like everyone said, it must be nice to be one of the only tC drivers in your area. There are so may tC's near me that I've seen recently, I feel like I'm just part of a fad. I went to a mall yesterday and there must have been over 10 tC's there. Luckily I have yet to see another 08 in silver like mine.
