Default Hello, new member, suggestions plz

Hello, I am gorbasho. I joined back in January when I first got my car, but haven't posted much, I've mostly been lurking around.

This is my 09 5spd FM tC. All that it has is the painted stock rims and...floor mats. lol
I am getting the windows tinted on wednesday though

Before you say "needs a drop" though, please consider my next point. I am a high school student, and an academically-inclined, overachieving one at that (>.<) with no time for a job. This car is paid for by my parents and thus they control any funds going into it for parts.
My birthday passed on Jun 19 though and so I can get something in the neighborhood of $100 or so, but I'm not sure what to do.
Trying to decide between:
-VRD grilles (you can get em for under $100 on ebay right?)
-VRD fogs (from apt auto)
-Getting my gauges/HVAC/stereo LED swapped (unfortunately I'm only a mediocre solderer and would probably screw it up if I attempted it myself)
-A collection of smaller items (like S2K antenna, some Bluebatmobile overlays)
-or something else, open to suggestions

I really would like to get some springs but theyre over $100 and this being my first car I'm not sure I can manage the installation (my friends are pretty car retarded and my parents arent the most supportive of my modifying my car either).

Please let me know what you think, keeping in mind that my budget is low right now and I'm not sure how soon after this I can get anything else.
Thanks =D

is it auto or manual?

short shifter and weighted shift **** is pretty a good combo.

get some used springs and install them yourself. or trd sway bar.

out of the things you listed i would probably get fogs or grilles

It's a manual. I'm still fairly new to driving stick, do you think the short shifter would help that or should I wait until I'm better?

idk if it would necessarily help but its pretty nice to have. i have the megan short shifter and i love it. and you can install it with basic tools in an hour at the most. just something to consider.

save for springs. there's plenty of tC owners in the Houston area who can lend a helping hand with the spring install.

Honda Element antenna. That still leaves you $83 saved for Springs.

haha so i see the general suggestion is to get springs.
say that the next time i get some money, it is enough from just that time to get some springs (probably this will be true), what would you say to do with the money now?

Yea, the first thing you should always do when modding a tC is drop it at least 2" doesn't matter how, coilovers, springs, whatever it just has to be done!
