HELP!!!!
So I bought a carbon fiber short antenna go my tC and after I put it on my stations are all fuzzy... Is there anything I can do to make them work??? Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
Not to sound like a jerk but put the old one back on. This is to make sure it is the antenne and not something else. IIRC radio shack does sell an antenne booster that should help but this is always a problem if you shrink your antenne without compensating for that.

But it looks so much better.... The old one I had on there had the rubber all peeled off and I didn't like the way it looked... Any other antenna I can buy that looks good AND works lol

Pretty much every 'stubby' antenna like that is the same, no reception.
Yup, S2000 is the way to go - it's the antenna used on the Honda S2000, available at a Honda dealer, on ebay, or sometimes for sale here in the classified section.
Be careful though, there are fakes. Most expensive option, but going to the dealer insures you get a real one.

I have the exact same antenna. The problem comes from the fact that the whole mast is metal instead of just the threaded part covered in rubber.
So that makes the metal antenna ground out on the outer ring metal piece that it shouldn't touch. If you cover the metal ring with black tape then screw it in lightly so it doesn't break through it picks up a little better but still not like the factory antenna would. My car came with this one and I just ordered the s2k antenna off of ebay because I usually do listen to the radio and travel a lot and with this antenna I get a lot of dead areas.
