help, broken bolt

Default help, broken bolt

the bolt broke from the radiator holder. another half is still in the car. any tips on how to get the other half out?

must suck to live up north and have everything rust to hell!

go to any autoparts store, they have "reverse" drills that can pull broken studs with ease!

Or just get a drill bit that is small enough to go thru the center of the bolt and drill thru it and then back it out and it usually comes right out.

thank, i will give it a try, Right now ,i zip tied the coolant hose clamp to the car body.

I had a similar problem. 3 of the bolts (2 radiator support and 1 air diversion panel) that broke. 2 of them were replacement brass bolts. I tried using a screw extractor, but didn't work. Eventually had to drill them out. Not fun at all.

i have to call my uncle to drill it out. and tap the thread to Standard size. now my tc have Metric & Standard size bolt in it.
