Default HELP: center cap fitment

So I bought TRD-style (I know it isn't a legitimate TRD product) center caps for my tC's stock 17s. I really liked how these look and it was a good price for the set. Turns out they're too big and won't fit on my car. Is there any way of making it fit somehow, or am I out of luck and should send them back?

i dont think theres a way of making them fit unless you cut them. that will defeat the purpose of buying these center caps since trimming/cutting them down will mess them up..

where did you order them by the way? I was looking into getting the trd centercaps for my stockies as well..

Sand the backs down and glue it on the stock caps. That's the best way it's going to work. Or actually get TRD wheels...

Yeah I ended up returning them. Too much work cutting and messing with those caps just to try to get them to fit. I got these off ebay, but they're 62mm and the stockies are 57.15mm. I did find TRD caps http://www.ebay.com/itm/300932800593...84.m1438.l2649
These are 57mm, i don't know if that .15mm will make a difference in fitment. I might give these a try, since there really aren't any other caps for sale in that size that say TRD on them

Why are you putting TRD caps on stock rims?

Because I painted the stockies gloss black and I want nice looking black center caps in place of the silver scion ones.

Makes sense. Those stock ones look like crap with the gloss black.
