what glue did you end up using, looks like it held well. When i did my roof of my old car i think i used the 3m 90 spray adhesive.

as for adhesive used, in my past experieced ive tried the M3 90 spray when i first did the inserts but in the long run didnt like it cuase with the sun beats on it over time i saw in little areas like 2 to be exact ehh.. it started coming up, so i did some research and found this contact cement by weldwood but "gel" form, and i used it on my headliner in my last set up and it worked out very well just had to brush it on the object itself n fabric.... only thing u gotta remember is you gotta let the part stay out of the sun for 72 hours to cure right or else you'll run into problems. but anyway hope this helps!

Got a Question..

What kinda of Prep work did you use on the Door Panels & Dash Board?...Since they have the "Rice Paper texture" on the surface. Will the paint eventually start to Chip Off and look awful?

Or did you do use a special kinda paint??

Not to my taste but good job on doing the whole thing. Id say you should just wrap the whole thing instead of painting some

as for the chipping i havent had any problems so far (keeping my fingers crossed) but all in all its holding up very well. if it start chipping then it back to the drawing board. im just learning. an for me i dont mind...

but as for the door panels i just did the typical sanding like crazy going from heavy to fine sand paper. then clean the panels with wax n grease remover while i had them hung up in the garage. i put a few coats of primer filler to fill in the small scratches from the sand paper then i used a regular primer (and all the primer i used was for plastic material). then i started with the paint i ended up using the rustelum brand from lowes or menards for plastic. and then clear coated the pieces afterwards

as for the dash i was a lil unsure of how i wanted to do it, from past experiences but i just ended up just scuffing up the dash before i applied the adhesive so it would bond better. i did however to a razor blade to the dash to see what was under that rice paper material and it was like a cardboardish material which gave me an idea on maybe down the line ill replace that with a foam like barrier and then lay my fabric on top so the theres like a breathing area so when the sun hits the dash on hot dash it doesnt mess with the glue but ehh just a thought.
