Default Help! question about sound my car is making

OK, yesterday i was driving down an exit ramp, it was a little wet but nothing that im not used to in wisconsin. I went around a curve at about 30-35, my back end slid out and i did a complete 180 on the ramp , I hit the median, it wasnt as a big as a normal curb prolly about 8 in high or so, i pulled my car to the side and i had no bodu damage under the car, one of my rims was a little scratched, but nothin serious, so i drove home, but today when i was driveing to work i started to hear this sound after like 30 mph it was a thump thump thump thump sound but really fast coming from the back side of my car,
Does anyone know what this could be, like maybe a ballbearing, i dont know if i should take it to the shop or not, any advice would be apreciated! thanks guys

Probably not, YOU hit the median.

and yes, take it to a dealer before you cause further damage to the car.

Sorry, yeah, I meant rotor..hahaha.... I'm guessing bent rim since it sounds like your tire/rim hit the curb on spin around....

It may be the tire delaminating. Take a close look at the tread and sidewall for any pieces hanging loose.

Many years ago I spun my mom's old '77 Chevy Nova and took a small chunk out of the tread on one of the rear tires. It wasn't noticeable when driving at slower speeds, but above a certain speed it would start thumping. Check your tires.

Yeah, I'd STRONGLY advise you to get snow tires before the weather turns cold. I've always had great luck with Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires (and so has practically everyone else here in Vermont...).

In fact, I just ordered a set for my tC.

WARRANTEE = A written assurance that some product or service will be provided or will meet certain specifications. ie, meaning it will cover manufactures defects.

INSURANCE = the action, process, or means of insuring or the state of being insured usually against loss or damage by a contingent event (as death, fire, accident, or sickness)

If the tranny falls out under regular driving conditions, then than you would take it to the dealer.

If you hit another car, or a median in the case, would it be under warrantee? or insurance? please think.
