Hey guys... i need some advice...
tC front windows have about 75% tint on them to begin with... which obviously is very light... but added to your 35% makes it illegal (right around 26% when combined, if my math is right).

If you have your license in NY, you could lose your license (I don't know NY law). IF your insurance company finds out, either you will get dropped or you will have a nice increase in your premium. Talk to them and see what they say about your chances or defense. When I saw lawyers in court for speeding tickets, they know the judge and have a better chance of getting the charges reduced. In my mind, going that fast and that much over, you better get the lawyer no way on your own are they going to let you off easy by contesting it yourself.
And don't be shocked if they don't think they can get you off 100% in PA they can take your license for 25 mph over.

Don't you know the golden rule? On freeways and highways you can usually get away with going 10 mph
or LESS over the posted speed limit without being hassled by the police. Dude, you were flying! Did you
ask to see the radar reading? If not, your loss. GL. It's going to be a b%tch to fight.

show them the paperwork from the tint shop... if the tint is darker than legal and the tint shop didnt tell you.. then the tint shop will get in trouble.
the speeding ticket.. you were speeding... so just pay the ticket. ask your judge about the deferred driving program or community service..

I don't think it's worth it for the lawyer, the ticket won't even come out to that much, I say you fight it and then work it out with the prosecutor on your own since it's your first offense you can probably plea bargain. If you really weren't going 82 you could request discovery [proof the officer's radar was calibrated recently] and that'll also buy you time because in NJ it takes months to get discovery
Idk i'm speaking from my experience, although i was going 82 in a 65 i had previous tickets
I ended up getting off with a $100 fine and 2 pts 'cause i'm 17 and they couldn't have reduced the pts to 0.
