i bought the twm ss and it is beautiful...i love it, along with the weighted shift ***...i have had zero problems and each gear is smooth.

word, everyshift is like a knife through butter know. It eliminates alot of the notchy feeling that the stock shifter had.

actually, its not installed yet, UPS still has it, But TRDsparks is the way to go.

TWM is perfect, I have the short one, I wish it was even shorter. the stock height is rediculous, WAAAYYY to tall and throws are WAAAYYYY to long.

 

I am interested in getting a short shifter. However, I am wondering if there is a shifter between the .5 in drop and the 2.5 in drop. A 1-1.5 in drop would be ideal for me. Half an inch I don't think would make a difference. The 2.5 in drop seems way too short. Are there any other manufacturers out there making that "mid-height" drop shifter?

 

THansenite: Although TWM does not offer a "mid-height" short shifter, we do offer height adjustable shiftknobs here: Height Adjustable Shift ***** which can be adjusted up and down by approximately 1.5". If you were to purchase a TWM stage 2 tC Short Shifter and a height adjustable shift ****, you would be able to achieve the desired height. Below is an illustration of the height adjustability of our shift *****, the first is an NTIS Classic shift **** installed in our WRX at its lowest and highest point, and the second image is a Bombshell shift **** at it's lowest and highest point:
