Default Hid color change??????

So i happen to look at my cars reflection on the back of a pickup truck today on my way home...and i happen to notice that my driver's side hid looks like a normal blub and not the blueish tint my passenger hid blub has...at first i just thought that the car behind me was angled a lil more towards the left behind me and the reflection was hitting the pickup truck and reflecting back on my car.....but then i happen to notice it on another pickup i was behind and there was no one behind me........ so when i pulled in my driveway i look at it and sure enough you can def tell the difference......anyone know whats the deal with that? has it happen to anyone else?.....btw i ordered new blubs and hopefully its just that and not anything else......crossing fingers......

so which one changed the normal to blue or blue to normal? Usually its color shifting aka getting old and loosing output. Its normal if it does that. how long have you had them?

maybe its your bulbs "cheaping" out on you. IDK, usually on OEM HID bulbs they color shift, loose lumens (output) and turn a little blue like you see on OEM HID cars.

its the bulb... i had the "pull me over" blue HID bulbs before and one side was turning purple. at first i thought it was the ballast but it ended up being the bulb..

Yeah the same thing is happening to me right now with my 8000k HID's. My drivers bulb is whiter than my passengers bulb, but when there warming up they are they same color then the driver's shifts a bit whiter. I had my kit for almost 2 years now.

I've heard of this with 5000K but never 8000K. I bought my 6000K Apexcones just over a year ago and haven't had any problems.

I have 5000k, and one shifted more towards 4300k. I just live with it. The bummer is mine are H11 retro's in the '08 projectors and the actual tube came a bit loose from the base, and when I go over sharp bumps my lights "flutter".
