hey guys im getting a tC next year and i know that whatever mileage scion tells me that its not accurate. so what is the highest MPG you ever got in your tC

Ya, but I'd be interested in knowing as well. I'd expect about a 24mpg average or so if you're doing a mix of highway/city driving. . I'd hope anyways.

 

i get around 30 mpg

 

I've had the car for about two and a half months. At least a dozen tanks already. Averaging 24, 25mpg. Although I did just squeeze 29.x out of the last one.

 

Geez I thought I was dooing pretty good wi/ 26.8 in mixed driving

 

Not so good for me.

Averaging 21-23 for the first few thousand miles, I only ran premium and I didn't speed very often.

I got my first oil change (synthetic now), have been using regular cause gas prices, and I got my grounding wires installed. My last average was about 25.5 mpg and half of the miles were before the oil change. So hopefully I'll stay around 25 or greater from now on, it would be nice.

 

I can get 33 mpg going a steady 70 mph.

then again, I flawlessly broke my engine in and run full synthetic.,

you shouldn't be running Premium. your TC is supposed to run on 87 octane. that's what it says on the fuel door, that's what you should run.

Premium does nothing for your car.

 

27-29 MPG through the first 1800 miles so far. About 80% highway.

i got 25 all city, but thats when i don't drive it like a grandma...

 

Yea...I only run 87 now I finally looked at that on the gas door. Not to mention I wasn't about to pay over 2.50 for premium.

I'm already paying 2.59 for regular in washington...

 

Highest I got was high 25 almost 26 gallons. How the heck do you guys get 30? A good 90% of my miles are highway miles.
