Default hit and run during work

So today I got off work and notice a dent on my back fender & bumper + scratches. Its not huge but still stands out. I have AAA insurance and if I report it to them as hit and run, will they be able to raise my insurance premium? This never happened to me so I'm unclear.

If it is your first claim ever, most likely they won't raise your rates. as long as you can convince them that it really is a hit and run and not your own doing. My former Pas____ got sideswiped in the middle of the night in front of my house. The insurance company did pay for the damage, but they did grill me about having it parked in front of the house, instead of in the garage. You pay these guys so much through the years and they get ticked off whenever you do need to claim for damage. The insurance companies are like some of the sleaziest rackets going out there. They make a lot of money off us year after year, but they keep raising our rates, no matter what.
BTW, they are known to just drop people off their coverage with hardly any reasons.
