Can't even imagine having 2 things like that happen in a row....

Well on the bright side of things... should all come out to one deductible right?

I hope this gets resolved and put those HS ghetto thugs behind bars. I hate seeing this happens... Good luck to you!

I hope it all goes on one deductible.

Also I'm not exactly sure if it were HS kids or not.

He kind of explained in one of the posts why they might have broken so many. It sort of makes sense... but still looks like they were just "having fun" being little ******.

wow man.. sorry to see that!

What kind of a moron thief cant take the console out of a tc A one armed man, blind in one eye and with one bad finger could have that out in less than a minute!!! Good thing they were that stupid.

And it doesnt take a bad neighborhood. I live in a very nice neighborhood in a building with coded garage doors and a string of thefts occurred. And I am talking orchestrated thefts, cars left on blocks, stereos missing, etc... and many INSIDE the garages! My winter car got hit in the parking lot, lost the amp and custom sub enclosure I built with two 12s in it. Cops were a joke.. took a short report on the phone, never came by like they said they would, etc. Typical unfortunately. If only I could have caught them in the act... they wouldnt have done it again :p nicer neighborhoods are just shopping centers for punk @$$ thieves.

Good luck on getting your stuff fixed, hope it comes out well.

why did you leave all that stuff in your car? My old galant got broken in a few times and they never took anything, you know why? Because I never left anything in there, same with my tC now. I have a few cds, but they're all burnt and I have a garmin instead of a navi built in. Got a viper alarm a few weeks ago, gotta have that installed this week.

Damn that sucks... Next upgrade should be a decent alarm... It won't stop the hardest of criminals but it will thwart off those would be criminals. It can lower your insurance rates too...

Who doesnt leave stuff in their car honestly? My sub box was covered by my hatch and I have 20% tint all around, and this occurred between 2am and 6am so it was really really hard to see inside, my ipod is black to boot.

I can't take the subs and amps out, and the CD case was in my glove box, which they rummaged through, my ipod was in my cup holder, I used to take it out with me, but after a couple months, you get a bit lazy, and it was parked in front of my house to boot.

To the question about did they break alot of windows on my neighbor's car.... No they didnt, they broke the small triangle window in the rear passenger side, which was enough to reach the handle/lock and break in.

That sucks. I doubt the insurance will cover it under one deductible. The hit-and-run is a different incident than the break in. They’ll want to get every penny possible from you before they pay for anything.

Obviously these thieves weren’t too bright since they had to smash 3 windows and still couldn’t retrieve the most valuable item in the car, the head-unit. Did the radio door confuse them??

I was going to comment on what they would/could have done differently to break in (if they were in fact “professionals”), but then I realized that I own the same vehicle

But since your fuel-door wasn’t opened, I’m assuming that the hatch-locking mechanism confused the heck out of them. “What on earth would open a ‘trunk’ with no keyhole?” (please, nobody answer this one)

And to do 2 cars in front of the same homes?? Sounds like a bunch of dumbarse kids. Too bad that once they’re caught, their identity will be “protected”. It’d be nice to be able to pay them a visit to retrieve your belongings, and deductible.
