Default Hole in my CV boot

well, i had to get my car inspected because its being transfered into my name from my companies name...(used to be covered by company insurance)...anyways, they found a hole in my CV boot. i have about 20k miles. took it to toyota of bowie, they found the whole and said it was a very small leak. mechanic feels that it was a manufacturer defect. if this problem is wide spread it could cause alota problems for tC owners after warranty is up....but sadly there really isint any way to tell.

these things happen. they usually just dont get a small hole for no reason
most common reason is something punctures the CV boot, causin the hole.
factory warranty on the CV boots is 3yr/36k
its not a huge problem, ur actually the first tC ive seen with this issue, actually the first scion that i kno of as well.
