Default HORRIBLE mouse squeaks in my back calipers.

I have HORRIBLE squeaks in my rear driver's calipers/suspension. I dont know what exact area it is but I believe it may be cause of the calipers/breaks cause theres a horrible squeaking sound when I break. Of course the faster I go and I break the louder the squeak is. Im suspecting its my break pads? How long can I drive with done break pads? I may not be able to go to a shop til tomorrow, but I need to go somewhere tonight. If its not the break pads, what could it be? My suspension also creaks (rear suspension) when I go over bumps. But the heavy squeaking is from breaking.

17,000+ miles.

i would get it check out asap. you dont want to be grinding on your rotors. as for your suspension, i dont know.

Squeaking usually means your break pads are going, so I would replace those, but usually the squeaking is only mild and doesn't really increase with increased speed. You should get that checked out immediately.

yeah definitely see how much pad you have left back there, but if it checks out you have lots of pad then i would check the backs of the brake pad shims, and apply anti-noise grease. and while in there make sure the sliding pins are greased up.

Went to my mechanic today, thought it was brake pads but brake pads were still very good. He just grinded the rotors down and everything is good now. Suspension still squeaks when I go over bumps, they checked everything and applied some grease but it still squeaks. Any ideas?
