Snow will hit my area on wednesday and I won't have the time/means to take off the summer rims/tires until saturday.

i can tell you for sure, the KDWs are NOT recommended/rated for temps below 60 degrees.
I noticed a big difference in grip/handling/responsiveness driving in colder temps with them.
I would not recommend driving on them in the winters around here.
rubber compounds have optimum temps for operating, and if you are outside of that range, the tire will not perform as it should.
They are certainly not designed for snow/ice.
given certain conditions, i would say yes, it could be dangerous (and in the very least, not a good idea) to drive with those summer tires in the winter in PA.

D. You have a really high paying job that would probably allow you a much better car than a scion in the 1st place.

man, it is snowing like crazy up here, and it is sticking to the roads, and some idiot in their ford expedition just got stuck out on the main road going through campus.
then i walked by a big lifted silverrado with rediculously large tires struggling to pull away from a stop.
list claudia, if it snows, and the roads aren't plowed and salted, your not going anywhere, summer tires, or winter tires. just wait it out.
