How dangerous is it...
The summer tires on my M3 are a joke in even the lightest of snow. Regardless of brand, I would never advise someone to drive in snow/ice or even sub freezing temps on summer tires.
But if the winter tires are already mounted on the stock wheels, putting them on your car yourself is pretty simple.

that, or tell them to buy you a toyota fj cruiser for inclement weather.
I personally think that snow tires is overrated.
I understand that using summer tires is pretty a bad idea for snow. Just put on stockies back on but dont waste your money on getting snow tires cus everyone say so.
I rolled on stock on my TC last winter and I lives in utah and i got through it just fine. its all about how you drive in the snow like how hard you press on the brake, going too fast, etc..

I bet you could change them yourself in about 30mins. All you need is the stock jack and crowbar(?). Put the jack under the 'arrow' by the front wheel(s). The jack can actually lift the front AND rear wheels off the ground on one side. Do the same on the opposite side. Hardest part would be loosening the lugs and lifting the wheels.
Degree of difficulty; 6-7.

are you guys kidding???
there is no one that lives near this poor girl that can go swap her tires around for her??
im furious that i live so far away damn it!
p.s. i have snow tires on my tC and it is about 40% better in the snow than stock tires, its no 4WD, but it gets going faster and turns a lot better on snow.
