have u been driving it orrr was it sitting and you noticed it?? how long has the time been roughly that u noticed this?

 

when i took it in to toyota i noticed it when they checked my oil.
that morning when i put on my header cover after i painted it it wasn't there.

 

veryy interesting.... maybe they set something there drove it to the spot and umm smelt burning smell and grabbed the items out... or they spilt something really hot on there or corrosive... HMMM

 

my best guess is it looks like a chemical reaction with the palstic causing it to melt, kind of like when you put foam into gas and it melts down to nothing, I would say at this point either get used to it looking like a goat sucker chewed on it because its not that bad, or replace it

 

make the dealer replace it...

 

he said it was like that when he arrived at the dealer, so not the dealers fault

 

but im still under bumper to bumper warranty

I don't think they will, it not a factory defect, which is what bumper to bumper is
