Im just wondering if other people greet other tC''s on the road with a nice wave or something cuz i know that i do

 

to the guys, i just give the slight head tilt nod. if i have one hand at 12 o'clock, i throw up a slight peace sign without removing my hand from the wheel. dont really wave to the guys unless its one of my friends with tC's (1UP!)

to the ladies, i usually wave. suprisingly i get a wave back 95% of the time and theyll put the window down and we'll have a little chat-chit. very nice and pretty girls in my area with scions.

 

SoCal people are usually un-friendly here..I try to say Waz Up to other tC people they are either not paying attendtion or on a Cell Phone...or they are old people...haha...

But...oh well!!...I try 2 be Nice

 

Depends. If I see a nice modded tC I'll flash me lights or nod my head. If its like a family or a one of those "i drive a skion" type people in their stock tCs, I usually just ignore.

 

u said u ignore stock scions. but it doesnt look like u have mods that make the exterior of ur car not look stock

 

Depends, if i see them i give them a whats up look.

If they driving like an a$., they get the bird.

And Hans, thats spoken like a true 17 yr old. You must learn sunsun, the wolf sometimes likes to stay in the sheeps clothing... Or you must learn, Scion spent millions getting the bodylines of the tC right. Some people dont want to add something that does nothing for function. You have much to learn

 

 

let me rephrase. Now I'm just generalizing here. But how many 20 year old girls do you know that drive around in cars with all OEM parts and know a thing or two about their cars? I don't know that many. That doesn't mean there aren't girls who know a little about cars (*cough cynce cough*) but most i see in my area don't. Last time I flashed my lights at a chick in a "stock" tc she gave me a little wtf do you want look so I'll save myself the trouble.

This is very true. Maybe I'm just not a friendly guy. If that's the case so be it. I'm done.

 

Most Scion owners in Cali aren't into the "I drive a Scion" wave thing, so I don't do a damn thing.

But what is funny; most of the waves, hand gestures, peace signs, etc. I do get are from tCs that are the same color.
Pretty funny ish if you ask me. Kinda like a color-clique-thing.

 

i just wave, if they don't wave back...oh well...i still do though. It's like for those of us that own motorcycles (crotch rockets for me)...we always wave to ther bike riders...even the harley guys wave back

 

I was just recently crusing at atound 23:00 here in Yonkers NY and some other TC coming from the back gave me just a litle honk few times., and i just honked back. that what we do here But sometimes people are just ignoring if you give them a knod show any kin dof sign ( of being nice)

P.S. And Hans i definetly understand what you mean..You frazed it wrong. But the idea is that some people dont even want you to look at them, not even speacking of showing signs or trying to speak with them.
Alot of people also buy TC just as a car and they dont even know the community exists !
At least here is NY what i've noticed.

 

Actually, most of the dicks are the younger ones.
I wave or nod, depending on what vibe I get.
Sometimes someone will do the same back, but mostly just young, spoiled dicks.

 

Yep, us riders wave all the time.
Riders are WAY cooler than most Scion folks.

here in cali people are unfriendly. I dont experience the color clique thing mentioned above, its more of a hating thing, as if they dont want to see the same exact car near them.

theres no friendly comradery here. its more hating and bashing than hello.
also there arent many modified scions here, id say 1 out of 5 cars I see here are scions and 99 percent of them are stock. I didnt realize there were so many scions on the road before I actually picked one up.

there are several scions in every parking lot I park in. however not as numerous as accords though, but I see more tcs than I do civics.
