It depends on if they look like a d-bag or not. lol
Most of the time I too will do a head nod or slight wave.

 

Don't see many tCs in CO Springs. But I will flash the high beams when I see a tC going in the opposite direction.

 

I usually growl at them and pee on the ground to mark my territory.

 

I would probably give someone a funny look too if they flashed me... then give the kid the bird for shining thier brights in my eyes.

 

no one where i live is friendly so i dont wave or greet anyone...every now and then if im at a light and someone next to me might say "nice car" or "its real CLEAN man"....i always love comments like those

Mostly round Oahu you really dont get the tC "hello's" i should say. For the most part its when someone sees the SE sticker on my car or i see it on someone elses car that a shaka goes out.

As for riding. Its an entirely different community all togehter. Ableit there is a very clear sect for the most part between cruisers and streetbikes. Its mostly the harley guys that cant stand sportbikes. Ive ridden with quite a few cruiser guys that were a blast to ride with. But you throw youre hand down for someone, and 9 times out of 10 they will hit you back. Its a 2 wheel thing

 

the only time i ever see another tC is when im driving, never at a light... i aways through out the peace sign to em, modded or not.... passed a RS2.0 tonight, he waved back.

when the sun's up, if we see each other we nod and wave and it's diff every time, but when someone has se sticker on the car i (we) usually ending up cruising couple blocks and nod when we drive off or they throw a piece sign out the window,

when the sun's down: at a stop light you stop in zig zag with other cars (meaning you don'e want to line your windows with other person's window, even if it's a scion) you barely ever drive at the same speed as the guy in front or behind you, and.......OH the most important rule....JUST LOOK STRAIT! don't ask me why but this is how it is.....

as for me~ i get a lot of nods and honks from scions b/c i hace se sticker on my car and they are usually super friendly
i also get honks by other cars because i have a shocker sticker on my bumper and if they see that and know what it is, they wave the shocker sign at me.......it was kinda weird at first but it's funny to me now, haha best 5 bucks i invested on a sticker ever, you guys should try it! haha

 

I look at them and try to give out a small smile with a head nod. But 99% of them don't look back....

 

True When i'm on on one of my bikes, everybody waves at me ... never any waves when I'm driving my tC tho' i've seen xB folks wave at each other alot.

 

haha I gots the shocker on my back window. so hilarious when you get the shocker sign from other drivers

 

hah it happens more often as you would expect that's the funny thing! i even had my school's security and janitor's fired up with that sticker...it was the creepiest thing EVER but i guess they dig it more than i do...

 

I beep and try to wave if I can.

I do this to all Scion owners, not just tCs.

 

Here in MA I always flash my lights or give a wave at all other Scions, and sometimes other toyotas..... .But nobody ever waves or flashes back!!! Where is the love! =)

 

same here! I usually get the "ricer-fly-by" treatment so there is no chance to wave. I see them in the rear view mirror, next thing I know, they speed past me going well over the speed limit. I have never had another tC driver that wanted to race do the right thing which is line up, it's ALWAYS fly-by style. I would say almost 100% of the time I see a modded Scion, they would do the fly-by. Stock..... maybe 50%.
