I will either throw a wave out the window or a quick light flash. Drove down to spartanburg, sc this weekend and have 3 tC's in the other lane flash and wave Wonder if any of them are on here?

 

i had someone do a quick wave to me yesterday. i thought it was funny/pretty cool at the same time. hah.

 

people in my area are pretty friendly..so i usually throw a wave or if its a nice hooke dup tc i flash the beams at them..hopefully not blindin them.......

 

here in miami about 80% of the tc drivers are rice boys and jackasses... so if they are cool ppl ill say wussup as long as they dont mess around with me

but more times then not ill get some dipsh*t rev his car and tap the rev limiter and ill just tell him to ef'off or (and ive done this before at a light) get out my car and scream to the driver WTF if you problem... usually that gets their attention and they back off or stay quiet.. then ill be on my merry way and they dont bother me no more or turn away.

i usually honk and wave, but that is to a tc only, ill honk OR wave to any one driving a scion!

 

if they have a window down i'll drive by at mid RPM and shift... PPPPPPSSSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!

Drives the girls in the passenger seat crazy, then they jump in mine.

Not to pick on Hans anymore but as a girl I just wanted to add my two cents. I am a 21 year old college student with bills to pay, including a lot of credit card debt built up from not living with mom and dad. Therefore, I have no funds to mod my car to the full extent of what I would like to. Also, just because I don't know ANYTHING about cold air intakes, suspension, or turbo boosting my tC doesn't mean that I don't have the potential to create a hot-a$$ ride. So for now I would hope that you will appreciate the fact that even girls and broke-jokes are just as much a tC driver as you.



On a completely different note, where I live I have only seen 2 other tCs. So the first time I saw a BCP I slapped my boyfriend on the leg and kind of freaked. Then a few nights later I was behind a white tC and I honked at him, made him rolled his window down, and acted like a complete dork! I would probably just give a little wave (similar to the Jeep wave, if any of you know what that is).

honestly i think it woulda been cool if scion gave us like a fan type flap with the words " nice scion" and when we pull up we show it to the other scion. i can almost see a commercial like that to promote it. what do u think?

usually dont do anything, alot of people in so cal arent very friendly. if they see lookin at their car they give you thee "what the heck are you lookin at?!" stare classic but i try 2 be nice :D

 

xb owners always wave, flash their lights, smile , or the famous blank look like theyv never seen an xb before meanwhile their driving one. I usually see tcs follow eachother until one of em em turns.

 

tinyscion, I completly understand where you're coming from, Notice that I used the word Generalizing. I wasn't saying that Girls don't know what they're talking about when it comes to cars. But would I be wrong to assume that more guys know about cars then girls do? I was just giving an example to make my original statement easier to understand. Of course there are Girls that know a lot about cars, There are Girls that could give Micheal Schumacher a run for his money.

My first remark was "Depends. If I see a nice modded tC I'll flash me lights or nod my head. If its like a family or a one of those "i drive a skion" type people in their stock tCs, I usually just ignore." Obviously that wasn't good enough for Mr Scion7 so I gave an example which I got jumped for. I hate how you can't even have a straight foreword conversation anymore. Everything is always politically incorrect or somebodies gotta get offended.

And if it makes any difference. Just the other day I was messin around with another tC on the highway which happened to be stock and was driven by two girls.

 

me!* I'll be 20 in a month, and I'm and girl, and have pretty much a "stock" tC, working on getting OEM parts, and know more than just a little about my car. I read your post and just wanted to let you know there is at least one girl that knows what's going on as im sure, there are many more.

 

sorry Hans, didnt see your last post. didn't mean to rag on you some more. but I do agree with tinyscion though. Im in the same boat as her with college and bills and not having to funds to mod like I want to.
