How do you remove the foot rest?
Does anyone know how to remove the foot rest? I have the Razo GT Spec pedals and just got the RP106 Foot Rest Silver. It looks odd just sitting there since it's so much smaller than the stock foot rest. My brother made a custom carbon fiber plate to put on top first, then have the pedal over that. For looks of course... I'd like to take the foot rest out first to attach everything then put it back. It seems like it could just pop out, but I don't want to force anything.
Anyone?

Thanks again for the quick replies. Forgot to add a pic to show what I did. My brother made a custom carbon fiber plate to cover over the footrest before screwing the pedal on. It looked weird without it. Blends in better like this.

That looks SWEET!
Hey, maybe it's the camera angle, but it looks like the brake pedal doesn't clear the gas pedal. . . are they really really close or something?
I know it must be nice for hee/toe, but isn't that border line dangerous? Or maybe it's just the camera angle?

It's both the angle and that it is indeed close. It clears, but with maybe 2mm space. Still though, the brake is quite a bit higher than the gas pedal, so in normal driving/braking, I never have to press down hard enough to get anywhere close to the gas. If I had to SLAM on the brakes hard, I might be close to my foot touching the gas as well. But only close. I tested quite a few times because at first install it looked like it could cause trouble. If I did the install again from scratch, I might try to figure a way to move the pedal for the brake over to the left a tad, but the Razo pedals have an anchor unit that wraps around the stock pedal to attach the Razo pedal. The gas and clutch are easy, but the brake has that angled bar attaching it on the bottom. Was sort of a pain in the butt to do.
It did turn out pretty sweet though. Thanks for the compliment.

I haven't had a problem with them being too hot or cold, but it just plain hurts to press on them with bare feet. Well, the clutch that is. But that could be either because I have the performance clutch which is 10x harder to engage than the stock and so I have to press pretty firmly...or maybe I'm just a wuss. lol
