Default Help with plastidip

So apperantly I didn't put enough coats of plasti dip. Some _______ tried to peel off one wheel and left it half way. I tried to remove the rest but just keeps breaking off. So can anyone give a couple methods to remove plastidip from wheels? I heard wd 40 works but have not tried it yet.

Update: used goo gone gel from Home Depot recommend buy 3 bottles. Each around 4.50. Took most of it off doesn't disolve just makes it super thing that when you use the power washer from a local car wash it rolls it right off unless you have a super thick coat. And yes you do get super soaked lol

Just spray it down with WD-40 wait a few then pressure wash it. There's also a product remover from dipyourcar that you can order

I did that but I can't seem to get the ones in-between the tire/rim area, theres like flakes of plastidip, I've tried using chopsticks to pick it out, don't wanna use needles or anything like that. Should I just spray more WD 40?

It's worth a shot to apply more WD40, but let it soak much longer than you have been before. If you soak it in WD40, and wait an hour or longer. You should be able to spray it right out with a pressure washer.

I tried to plastidip my emblems but i failed so theres residue of the plastidip left in the little areas where its hard to get out, would you suggest putting WD40 on paint? lOL And let it soak in and spray it?

For that, you could use this:
Amazon.com: Desolv It Citrus Solution 12.6 oz: Industrial & Scientific Amazon.com: Desolv It Citrus Solution 12.6 oz: Industrial & Scientific

It won't hurt your paint, it's a weaker solvent. This would work great for your rims too if you could wait to get this. You can get it at some stores, but I have prime so I don't have to wait too long lol
It removes plasti-dip pretty damn good.

Ill order that then.

I can't seem to get the plastidip to evenly go on the emblems, its either too much layers and i peel to much when its dry..it doesn't work for me. I thought about taking it off but then how would i put it back on? lol

You could always just use some 3M tape. Probably be your best option, although the tC is quite small on the back end.... So not sure really lol
