All government systems in California are overloaded and plagued with long wait times. Anything that requires you to apply to a California state office is going to take 3 to 5 times longer than it would in most other states.

I still have my dealer plates on, and I will keep them on for as long as possible. If a pig pulls me over, I will just say the DMV in pathetic and ask him for help. Since he will be a moron, this will confuse him and he will let me go. Plus, I will avoid all those cameras that give you tickets.

^^Don't lie. You know you keep the paper plates on so the ladies think you have a new car and some $$$.

(I actually have a friend who dated a guy who had paper plates for 3+ years on his BMW X5. He tried to tell her it was new because it had no plates, I told her how old it really was. What a .)
