Default How Long Did It Take You To Get Your Finance Information?

The thing is I got my car on the 8th of July. It's now about a month later and i still have received no finance information. In fact I got a letter from Toyota Motor Credit Corporation that they still have not made a decision on my credit application and in fact are waiting for more proof of income. How is it that I drove off the lot and have been driving a car for a month when i apparently am not even financed for the car yet?

Maybe you should provide them with what they want before they repo your car? Also FYI, credit unions usually provide much better rates than what Toyota MCC can offer, provided your credit history is decent.

It took me one day for them to run my credit score to get the APR, and then the day I first got the car, the finance guy asked me if he could see and photocopy a paystub as the proof of income. That was about two and a half weeks ago; I just sent in the first payment today.

this is what i'm saying i already gave my dealer copies of my paystubs and they said everything was already set up so how is it that i'm allowed to drive off the lot if apparently everything is NOT setup. and i'd like to see them try to repo my car. i'd have the better business people and the scion/toyota people and everyone else so far up their behinds it wouldn't even be funny. but yeah i'm waiting for my finance guy to call me back now

when it comes to your credit..... dont risk it!

id say contact TMCC, and provide them with all they are wanting and be done with it.

I was allowed to drive mine off the lot but a few days later they called me to say that they needed to verify my identity due to someone else using my SSN in the past. I got the info gave it to my dealer and was done with it.....

Yea that's wierd, they should have something done by now i mean a month later come on. I know when i got my tC i got everything done that same day. They didn't ask me proof for much they just ran my credit and proceeded to sell me the car that was it. He siad something about i qualified for the sign and drive or something.
I also didnt want to go through Toyota Financial because there rate at the time was to high, so i went through a credit union and got a way lower rate =o)
