doubt that homie. i don't know what you've been through and i'll be the first to admit that i didn't have a hard life; but it wasn't easy. i've been in the u.s. navy for 6 years now, and have grown so much. even at 19 i was mature and now at 25 have grown more i my own right.

catback, CAI, double din, new amp, subs, custom enclosure, wiring, CF dash and the outside window panel, interior and exterior LED, spoiler, window tint, vinyls, floor mats, new badges. ( some stuff i spent too much on, but i wanted it asap for shows ) i'd have more ordered but with moving and student loans kicking in and my 6month insurance payment just paid on the new car that kinda killed it. i'll add rims/tires and suspension come november or after the first of the year after all of the snow and ice is gone (so the salt wont kill the rims)

^^that's what's up. props to you on that.

and IF your 'rents did buy it there's nothing wrong with that either. it's a 17k car, not a 30k ride. i've known people to get cars that expensive from their parents. then there's the girl that wasn't happy with a brand new 99 Civic Si, and wanted a new 240SX instead. be appreciated whether you or your parents bought it. alright i'm done. peace.

i personally don't understand how ppl can spend money modifying their cars instead of paying them off.

Personal choice

You live once. Me personally. Once the car is payed off, it will be sold anyhow. So if I pay it off instead of modding it, I wont own it anymore.

ever heard of immediate gradification. it's cheaper to pay for wheels rather than 18k for the car.

i still plan on owning mine, but i don't want my car looking the same as everyother car out there. i don't have much left on my loan, plus you never know how long you're going to have the car (i.e. accident, stolen, etc.) so may as well get it to where you love it. the tC looks really good stock, but the view i have in my head is what i'm in love with.

different strokes for different folks i guess. plus alot of these people probably do have the veicle paid off.

i'm all for live fast die young but want to balance it out with "suffer" now and enjoy later! actually i just really want a collection of cars when i'm older that don't include the tc so it's BusMetroWalk for now while my tc dies at the shop. i was just asking out of curiousity as purpled out says, different strokes for different folks and i can respect that
