here's the way i look at it: you could probably save a marginal amount of money, if you gassed up a couple of times during the week, BUT, you need to be filling up to only about half a tank. with a 14.5 gallon tank, thats 7 to 8 gallons you have in your tank. with 7-8 less gallons, and at about 6 lbs to every gallon, that means you're carrying about 40 less pounds, so theoretically increasing fuel efficiency. but like i said, it may only save you a MARGINAL amount.

(i tried this for about a month, i think my mpg's went up about .5mpg(compared to what i was averaging over the last year just about) it was a bit hard to calculate, but i think thats fairly accurate).

*edit* oohh..i stand corrected, 14.5, not sure why i thought it was 14.8

 

I thought the tank is 14.5 Gallons?
usually takes me around $40-45 dollars.

 

 

ok i just filled up and my lite was on for like 10 miles. 12.54 gallons at 35.06 (2.79)

 

i refilled today, and my refill light was flashing already. i put in 30 bucks regular. filled over max. so i take 30 bucks? give or take? ^_^ not as much as the V6s and V8s hahahahahah
