Default i <3 snow

so the power went off here at like 4am yesterday and didn't come back on till 1am last night. even with all this snow, all the roads are clear and a lot of it is already melted. ugh. i hate reno.

this was at 11pm saturday night. i was at a friend's...yeah, it was time to go home

mine is ok, it can handle powder just fine. slush and ice kill me. i live on the top of a hill so it makes it a fun drive home every time lol

i've been thinking about a car cover. wal mart sells one that has a pic of the tC on the box.

when it finally stopped, it was just under 2 feet. that bottom pic was about 15 inches

Wow! You are so lucky! I live in Canada and we're not getting much snow this winter!! Sucks for the ski!

(Btw, I'm new here and been browzing for a couple of weeks before creating my account, you guys have a GREAT forum, very usefull!! )

lucky??? yeah if that's what you want to call it. we need the water for the upcoming summer but lemme tell ya, owning a car that does better as a snow plow isn't so fun in the winter. welcome btw, it's always good to have new members

I hate to say it, but....
Hawaii didn't get a flake of snow this winter! We were the lone hold-outs when the rest of the nation (all 49 states) had snow. Sign, no 50-for-50 record.

yeah hills are a b*tch. hills still scare me! i still panic on hills, snow or no snow. :D do u have a man or auto tranny?

Well, I guess I got owned today for complaining we did'nt get enough snow, I had an appointment this morning which was an hour an a half from were I am but couldn't get to it, the autoroute was closed due to extremely bad weather

BUT! the fun part is now I can go skiing!!

haha you always have to look at the bright side. well, i don't usually, i hate snow. the morons here think they can drive. i love the massive lifted trucks that blow by me at red lights only to lose control by the next intersection. you aren't that bad a** buddy.

i think of hawaii as a place of warmth and beauty, not cold and miserable like here

it's not terrible. it comes down to the tires more than anything. all seasons probably work great, i have kumho axt's, not so great. i do fine as long as it's not mad amounts of slush and ice. then i need chains for sure

i think they handle fairly well. i have stock tires. just gotta learn how to drive in it. mines never given me a prob shes a trooper!
