We got about 2 ft of snow in less than a day in a half. Mine was fine with a few flakes on the road. But then they tried to scrape/salt the roads and it turned into about 3 good inches of this very wet stuff. Great for snowballs, not so much for traction especially with the Toyo Proxes (it literally just packs in so that you have a solid tire with no traction and ice all the way around). Even our 4WD in low was having issues in it because the layer underneath turned into ice. And it has KEPT SNOWING So... needless to say, the tC is not coming out until the snow goes away or until I finally get something other than summer performance tires on the thing. I watched a tC in the intersection on the way to work completely 180 it in the middle of the intersection right in front of us. Good thing we both got stopped in time

But even then, we have hella potholes around here from the scraping that would probably eat the tC if I tried to drive it. I've seen so many sports cars with one steelie from where they've bent a rim or completely blew a tire. Our local newspapers have had big articles about the holes I guess because people are writing in complaining because they are blowing rims and tires and there's no way to avoid them because they take up the ENTIRE road. One of the roads near my house is like an ice covered washboard. Can't wait until they pave in the summer.

it's exactly like that here aside from the potholes. i went home around 11pm that night and at 8am the next morning, it had dumped all that. our last storm back in december only gave us 6 inches but it was COLD and all of it froze over. not so fun, my tires get caked with snow too

Yeah. I really need to get some steelies with some kind of snow tire on it. I really don't feel like going and paying $259 for a new rim and another $100 or so for a new tire. Some of them or so deep, I'm sure they'd take off my front air dam and everything if I hit them right.

Right before I dug it out completely:

After about 8 more inches of snow:

The poor MR2 (on the left) will be buried until July at this point. We really need to get our house bought and get them in the garage.....
