I just purchased my first brand-new car last week. 2010 Scion TC in flint mica, 5 speed, no options. Went to one dealer and it was a nightmare. The salesman tried to put me into a Corolla S instead and knew nothing about Scions(they didnt even have any on the lot) so I went to a different dealership (Crystal Scion in greenbrook, NJ) and it was an amazing experience. They had a 5spd FM on the lot and I bought it on the spot that day. It's my first 5 speed car and boy is it fun. It has 300 miles on it right now and I'm excited to start making it my own. Planning on starting out with some Tein S-Techs. I'm 23 and I live in central New Jersey just for a little personal info.

Hey, all! Just found this thread and thought I'd share that I just bought a
2010 Super White tC! It is super-sweet; I couldn't ask for a better car. And
I can't wait to get some mods done to it. Already got the spoiler and body kit
from the dealer, I'm getting tinting done as we speak (type?), and I really wish I could get some engine work done but it's super-expensive and idk any car guys that would do it for free. For now, I'm stuck doing aesthetic mods. I'm thinking about sending out my gauges to get LEDs replaced, maybe some new tails, definitely a shorty antenna, and anything else I can think of. But for a poor college kid, that's about it for now. Anyways, it's nice to be part of the Scion family now!

I can't wait to modify it! So far I just have the spoiler and I just installed some blue LEDs under the dash. And replaced the dome lights.
But I plan on lowering it and tinting the windows!

2010 tC RS 6.0
I bought a brand new tC (got it with about 10 miles!) about 1.5 months ago. I've been looking at tC's for a while now, and I picked it over the civic coupe because I liked all the extra stuff that comes standard.
I just went to browse at the dealership, because I wanted to see the colors up front (photos can be deceiving at times). They didn't have the color I was looking for, but they did have the RS 6.0. I liked it, but I didn't really see the point in paying an extra 2 grand for a fancy paint job. Anyway, the guy was desperate for a sale, so he made a nice offer on the RS. My dad liked the price and I liked the car, so BAM, came home unexpectedly with a sweet new ride.
I"ve got almost 4k miles on it now. I just love driving it around. I just go the standard automatic 4 speed tC with floor mats. Found this site a few days ago, and decided to join in!

just got about 1500 miles on my tc so i thought i'd put up some pics. i wanted to wait a bit until it wasn't stock... seeing as you guys all know what stock looks like.

i just got my silver 2010 tc about a month ago and i have to say that i am a retard. not because i dont like the car ... but i had a 2006 infiniti g35 6spd and got rid of it because it cost me an arm and a leg. now it is true that this car is a lot cheaper but here is where my disappointment comes in. though it is cheaper i have found myself needing more power. i have tried to convince myself that i will be ok with what it came with but i just havent been able to accept it. so now im stuck with a car that im going to end up sinking just as much money into it to get the same amount of power and not even close to the luxury or performance standards and people actually noticed me on the road with the g 35... oh yeah and the 298 hp g35s gas mileage was rated at 26 h 18c and the tcs is 27 h 19c. but to be honest it is a pretty fun little car and i guess once i sink the money into it to get what i want it wont be so bad.

i think the point has been missed my friend. i want power because that is what im used to. when i can go 0-60 2 seconds faster in one car than the other i can drive totally different. and in terms of people looking i was merely making a comment on the fact that not everyone and there mother has a g35 a tc is a lot more common. MY whole point was that i knew i would get less out of the tc than my other car... BUT i thought i would be able to adjust and i havent been able to. so on with about 10 grand in work.. lol

well to be honest there are a decent amount of g35s in va beach but most of them arent coups and the coups that are here are the older models with the 18 inch rims and less power. and there is just a certain feeling being 25 and having a nicer car than most 40 yr olds... lol

Oh and the reason why I've got the cane there in the picture is because my leg was shattered in March when some idiot t-boned me on my motorcycle, which is why I now have a car instead.

Keep your car clean. Wish mine was silver vs IIP. Glad to see yours doesn't have the damn pedestal spoiler.

Hello everyone! I couldn't find a members Intro on the forum so im guessing i can do one in here? if not, then me sorry lol.
My name is Frank and i got a 2008 Flint Mica tC about two weeks ago. I bought it as a DD so i got it in Automatic. I've had a few performance cars like 2 SRT4's and one of them making some good power. I had a 2007 STi which i miss a whole lot and currently a 98 GS-T i got as a project.
The tC is growing on me, and im thinking about getting some coilovers and doing a semi flush lol. I'm new to the scion world so hopefully i can learn a lot from everyone on the forum.
