The "I AM GETTING / HAVE A NEW tC!!" Thread
I just purchased a 2009 silver TC two days ago. I am very happy with it. I purchased it used with only 14,900 miles on it. I like the fact that it's a REAL hatch even though it's more of a coupe body. I'm originally a Honda guy and regret ever selling my 91 Si hatchback 7 yrs ago but I was having a kid. Also I had been out of the street scene since 2001 but started back in '96 when you could still see Team Wicked racing on the streets of Cali. I look forward to learning more about this vehicle along side other newbies and with the help and patience of those who are more TC inclined. Thank you.

Well i guess ive read through the forums enough without actually joining so here i am. i live in Ga, bought this car for a daily driver with good mpg. so far so good. all ive done so far is tint the windows (not pictured). the only things im gonna do is lower it with TRD springs and put some wheels i just bought off good ole craigslist on it. im hoping the tpms fits on the wheels. wheels r identical to factory size but about 4 lbs lighter.

my old car.

my old car.
Just got a manual 2010 Classic Silver Metallic tC this past Saturday, and I'm in love with it! Using it as a DD to and from highschool every day. Also, sorry for the crappy quality of the pic. Took it with my iPhone 3G, which has a pretty lame photo-taking ability.
just bought a 2010 in super white, its gonna be my DD so its an auto. trd exhaust, lowering springs, cold air intake, upgraded stereo, and enkei rims. couldnt decide on the 2011 or 2010 but the body style is just not me on the 2011s. LOVE my car already!!! pics soon hopefully
Here's my 07 CSM Scion Tc, that im picking up tommorrow I'm a newbie when it comes to Scion's but I'm confident that i will be able to make this car look really nice. Thanks to many of you guys because after going to this site for a few years now and seeing what other guys do to their TC's I have a pretty good idea what to do with a TC and hopefully what not to do
, its funny because I never really liked the CSM TC's but this one came available and I couldn't pass it up, and its starting to grow on me, I plan to keep it clean and simple, for starters I'm going to get either a OEM lip kit, or Five Axis kit, or maybe a mixture of these 2 which looks nice, lower it of course maybe just springs at first until i can save up for a decent set of coils like B&G or Function & Form, swap out the grills, 5000k hid kit, short shifter, shorty antenna, that's about it for starters but my ultimate goal for the TC is to turbo it in a few years, I really like the Ptuning kits
that are out, well anyway enough of my talking here she is in her present state! Wish they would've cleaned the windows, don't worry beautiful you'll be home with me soon enough lol
Let me know what you guys think?

Hey everyone! I just recently got a 06 Scion tC RS 2.0 and it's starting to grow on me already....I am a noob to the Toyota/Scion type cars. Owned a Kia before this, worked on Subaru rally cars and some vintage Jeep CJ's. Sold both to buy this car! Sad to say its an automatic and it didn't come with an owner's manual so I have been finding out something new everyday about this car (thanks to site's like this one!) I can't wait to start tinkering with it though!

everyone come check out my 2011 scion tc black. first one in canada. have had it since october 1. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/388209...ond-hill-on-ca
Hey everyone! I decided to get a tC for my next "show car" project. The tC has really grown on me. I found an 06 silver MT w/ 60k miles on it for $8000 soooo needless to say I got it! I'm very pleased with it! Ive been working on it for about 7 weeks now. I look forward to posting my progress and getting some feed back. Both good and bad.....dont worry I can take it lol
