with pretty much every toyota made these days, there is a feature that turns the headlights off as soon as you open the drivers door when you turn off the car. if you happen to need the lights on after exiting the car, just turn them off then on, and they will stay on. but when you are getting out, just leave them on, and open the door, and the lights turn off.

Default Cool feature...

Too funny. I discovered that last night when I got home. It's a very intelligent way to go in my opinion. No more dead batteries!

Yes, I loved that feature on all the old Supras I've owned. And I'm happy that Toyota carried it over to this car.

it's great, i still need to add tint, and lower it etc once i can do it without scraping a certain driveway everyday so it should be good to go for pics in some time.

4pointer: Congrat's again. Maybe I'll see you around the 626 sometime soon.
I got a 32% tint and it looks great.
As for scraping a driveway...don't even go there - I'm dealing with that too. Dang narrow Pasadena driveways...

Default Great car " for the money"!

Hey logical, what color \ options did you order? I'm very happy with my 1 week old flint mica \ auto. I wanted blue, but settled for the fm out of desperation and instant gratification. LOL...but still happy!

I got a 5-speed flint mica. The only option I added was the floor mats. I like to keep things simple (and cheap)...lol

Default same here....

Same here man, except I got the automatic with floor mats. LOL I remembered the numbness of my left leg when I drove my Mustang GT manual to work every day through 2 to 3 hours of construction delays and decided to avoid the stick this time around. After reading into the supercharger and turbo options for this little rocket, I am beginning to regret my decision, but such is life.

Congrats on the new car. I for one am really impressed with the overall quality for the money.

Now if I can just add a few more parts I'll be happy! ( until the next part comes into view and my credit card jumps from its hiding place. LOL)

Enjoy the car man.

Default Toys

Thanks slboettcher. I see you have a few toys of your own in addition to your TC. Nice! That was my logic too. Get rid of the Lightning, buy a TC, and look for a used bike to cruise by the beach on weekends. Now if I can only persuade my girlfriend to get on the back...( hair seems to complicate things. This is why I shave my noggin...it has nothing to do with my receding hair line..nahhhhh) LOL

Cool forums you guys have here. I'll be around daily!

Hey Guys/gals,

Im bobby, and im just signed the purchase agreement on my 06 Black Cherry Pearl tC...5spd manual, FREE sirius cd player with 9 month subscription (dealer promo) ....bone stock

BUT, im gettin the TRD axleback free from work, and hopefully a TRD short throw free from work as well, we'll see... Im looking to tint it and maybe put a navigation system in...but thats all for now. It takes all the self-control i have to not put that ZPI or Turbonetics on order, as well as a lowering kit....my palms are itching!

but....ive got one project, thats enough, this is gonna be my daily through school/work

hopefully ill have pics up this weekend!

Jake, toys keep a man sane! I'd shave my head too, but I'm too freakin' ugly as it is!
Bikes are great fun. I might be selling my VTR1000 - let me know if you're interested...

Welcome again, it's a fun place.

Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Me and my wife just picked up our brand new 06 Flint Mica TC today. I will be around the boards looking for up grades and whatever catches my eye.

That describes how I bought mine too, sure didn't want to order one & wait, so I got one off the lot that was "close enough".

I bought mine after looking at it for 10 mins. While I was out oggling the tC, my wife went inside and bought it for me - she knew I'd procrastinate forever if she didn't...I think it's a good way to do it.
BUT, I did research the SCION for months before even looking at them.
