Twist the wires and cover with electrical tape. I think that's the easiest way.

twist with electrical tape.. id be hung then shot for doing that in my work.. go to radio shack. get some butt splices..aka barrel connectors and a crimper.. they usualy sell it as a set.. makes it cleaner, faster, and 10 times more reliable.. .. . you can solder.. but its overkill for that.. just get the connextors and you'll be good

I would have to agree, barrel connectors are you're best bet for the least amount of problems in the future.

Its got 2 open ends with metal inside. You strip the wire, insert, and crimp down, repeat and you have a connection. Sorry if im making it sound simplistic, but people in the states that rock the "Under 1 year driving" (Green/Yellow) sign from japan thinking its JDM, i instantly classify as a retard. Theres nothing cool about having that sticker that in japan, just means you have no idea what your doing behind the wheel, and anything you happen to do, that you are not accountable for.

Yea we can tell your not RETARDed by the figurative and highly sophisticated language you use when posting on SL. 2 words for you buddy. SPELL CHECK.... i mean my god. and please don't try anything your not sure how to do leave it to professionals. i have seen to many people screw up not only the HU with is sensitive and easy to short-circuit but also the cars electrical system. A new car like the tc dose not deserve that. if your going to be ghetto with your system drive a Honda. also stuff like twisted wires and tape is a great excuse for a stealership to void your warranty!

O' ok then, but all the more reason not to screw with your head unit. it can end up causing serious problems for your car and wallet. most places only charge like 20-30 dollars for install. and many even do it for free if you buy the HU or install kit from them.

It's not hard at all if you have the harness. Most of them are color matched already, and even if they aren't, they say their function on the wire. The hardest part is drilling the mounting brackets, and you don't have to do that necessarily if you can close the radio door.

gicode's english isn't perfect, but you can still understand what he's saying. I'm awful at speaking/writing other languages, so I give credit to him for being brave enough to take part in our scionlife community (that communicates completely in english). It also looks like he's got a pretty nice tc and since scions are why I'm on this site, he's okay with me.

There english isnt perfect but they sure can read it.

Sure you have pride in being from japan, good on you, japans a wonderfull country. I loved living there. But riding a symbol that says you are a juvenile to driving, i dont see where pride comes in. Its like Carlos Mencia when he was describing "keeping it real" on a car. Atleast you know it means acording to the japanese govt I CANT DRIVE. Most people just assume, "hey its from japan, lemme put it on here for the TYteNass Yo!"
