Default I CALL IT "ASM" (ANTI-STARTER MECHANISM)

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

HELLO EVERYONE... I BELIEVE I FOUND OUT A REALLY COOL THING ABOUT THE (SCION TC)... IT'S BEEN TWO WEEKS SINCE I'VE BOUGHT MY 2009...

BECAUSE THE CAR IS SO QUITE, I FORGOT THE CAR WAS ALREADY STARTED SO AS I TURN THE STARTER KEY, THE CAR JUST SIMPLY SHUTS OFF INSTEAD OF SCREWING UP YOUR STARTER...

WOW!!! FANTASTIC!!! VERY SAFE MECHANISM...
WOULD BE NICE IF ALL FUTURE CARS ARE EQUIPT WITH THIS FEATURE....

???WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS FEATURE???

Please... the CAPS... no more... can't take it!

(really though - it's against the rules - turn the CAPS off)

my thoughts are look at the gauges and the RPM's not at 0 would tell you that the car is running.

Really though the only way to really do that is to get the computer involved in the starting process. Which that elimnates the simplicity of a Toyota. GM already does this but then you have to deal with all their crap

have you ever driven a new cadillac? you gotta turn the caddy on and wait a few seconds for the computer to boot.. in those couple of seconds, nothing in the car works.. the windows wont roll down, seats wont move, driver profile takes a couple of seconds to load as well.. its a pain IMO

Well that is good to know since I almost did this yesterday. But like it was said, I just looked at the RPMs to see if it was on and it was. I learned that trick from the older cars I have owned.

And you sound like one of those pain in the ___ people that would try to get away with every little thing just to see if he can and how far he can push things.

I don't make the rules. I enforce them. If you don't like it... well... tough. They're the rules.

haha so you assigned yourself to be the scionlife police..so let me get this right. You believe that CAPS are such a big deal? It bothers you that much?? I mean if I type in small letters, does that mean im talkin real quite? Obviously scion1d didnt mean to insult anyone, he was more excited than threating. What if I TYPE THIS IN CAPS. I dont see how this would harm anyone and this has got to be the dumbest rule. Disrespectful? No not disrespectful..who ever decided that CAPS meant shouting? CAPS was created to highlight important words and to make it easier for a writer to capitalize a title. People can take it as disrespectful if they want but many things can be disrespectful. You stated that i sound like a pain in a butt person..I could take that as disrespectful..does that mean we should ban that sentence too?

"On Internet chat systems, forums and Usenet, typing a sentence in all capitals is considered rude, the large letters akin to shouting or yelling within the social context."
