I got one of these in the mail today...
BAM!

Getting ready for autocross season... and sold off my Panasonic MiniDV camera and won't be using the headrest mount anymore either.
But what would anyone else do when they get a new toy like this on a nice day? Uh... go test it of course! I mounted it to my door under the mirror - the thing is solid too. The giant suction cup is going nowhere. Plus there are a few different mounting options and attachments to pretty much mount and swivel it any way you want.
Here's the vid:
Normal Quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaGclAFvQRs
High Quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaGclAFvQRs&fmt=18
The audio sucks at first, but there's another thing I can do to improve it. I'll probably be trying again tomorrow or this weekend and have another video with hopefully better sound. This camera is TINY too. It fits an SD card and 2 AAA batteries... barely. Outside of the casing, the camera is less than 2" tall and probably less than 3" long... just over 1" thick at the battery door. Crazy.
BTW... This is the GoPro Motorsports Hero Wide and I got mine off of eBay, new, for $165-ish with a free 2 GB card (not $200, listed on the site).

Ya, it's damn cool so far. But I can't wait to get a good daylight test of it. Not to mention its waterproof so I can run it in the rain if I want. But I will probably just mount it inside with the rain... don't know.

yea.. my friend has the non-wide version
(mostly because he got it awhile back ago and they didn't even have a wide version yet)
and it performs really damn well for its size.
pretty sure he got a nice deal off ebay too and it came with plenty of connectors and mounts too as part of the deal.
it's a good cam... if you want a 2nd one.. i'd say go for it if you can afford it

I've been wanting to get one of these for a while now. It's a really reasonable price for what you're getting. Can't wait to get this and get some canyon runs on video. It looks cool even with everyday driving around the city.
i think you ran a stop sign. it would be sooo sick to mount one on the bumper and mirror, and picture in picture edit while racing. makes me want to autocross. gotta get some suspension first.
