Default I got sandwitched!!

The other night coming home from work my lane pulls to a swift stop. Two seconds later this Pontiac Sunfire hits me from behind going about 40 pushing me into the Ford Explorer in front of me. To make a long story short, the entire front and rear have to be replaced on my two month old TC. Suprisingly i think the Tc held up pretty well. I wish i had pictures so everyone could see. The sunfire was totaled, my car about 4 to 6 thousand and the Explored i didnt give a damn about... his bumper was bent or something, and the u-haul hitch was rammed through my grill.. sad.. sad.. sad...

Sorry for the mishap. Luckily you are okay. Was it all body damage and did you have any "inside the hood" problems? If it is only body work you should be okay to go once fixed.

Good luck.

hopefully you were at a complete stop when the sunfire hit you....if that's the case, then the sunfire is at fault for both your car, and the explorer

The only thing i could see under the hood... Granted it was night was that my intake came off.. It all looks cosmetic to me though.. hopefully no frame damage. The funny thing is, there was a cop sitting in the parking lot right next to me giving someone a ticket when this happened. I called 911 and said there was an accident and a unit was already there. I didnt even have to explain to ANY of the cops what happend... this guy saw it all from the parking lot. The girl that hit me got all the tickets. And she does have insurance... which will probly drop her after wrecking three cars.

well, hopefully she will pay more attention now, and we'll have one less person not paying attention while they are driving.

Sorry to hear about your car, hopefully it all comes out okay.

Yeah I thought this thread sounded familiar.

At least the cars are keeping us safe!

I've been lucky to avoid everything but paint chips and door dings thus far!
