No one here has said anything about their Scion TC being stolen.

works quite well.... sometimes my own keys doesnt' work... when I get in my car and try to start the car... the key won't turn... I had to wait a while... mess with the doors.. then a few minutes later.. it let me start the car.... weird ****...

When that happens turn your wheel a bit, it won't start sometimes unless you do so. Nothing abnormal, most cars do it.

the wheel is pretty much locked though? can't really move it.. I know if the key can turn then the wheel unlocks... but i can't even turn the key to the acc position...

just wiggle it as much as you can. it normally allows the key to move then

Or just turn the key a bit harder, most if not all cars nowadays have that feature, its to deter theives, since it blocks the ignition partly. It doesn't really work, but meh, its more money for a company to waste..so let em have there fun.

You got that backwards: When you turn the wheel to unlock it, then the key will turn. Turning the key does not unlock the wheel initially.

Yeah, that happens to me every so often - I go to start the car, the key won't turn, I swear for a second then remember to turn the wheel about an inch.
