Default I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT TRADING TC'S.......SHED SOME LIGHT..

I was thinking about trading my tc now for another color or an XB. Is that even possible? Is there any websites for trading cars equally? My friend asked me if I was trading, would I like to trade for his 05 XB. Where I would sign over the title to him, but I keep my loan. Is that even possible? ...

Another question is.............How much would it cost to get a paint job done in NY? I guess my car has low mileage at 35k for a 2006? Anyway, can any body shed some light?

no, you can't get an equal trade, it really doesn't work, dealerships are a for profit operation, they won't go through all that work for the fun of it.

as for your friend, if you can get it approved to sign over the payments of eachothers cars to one another, then yes, you could trade cars, and you would each assume the remaining payments on eachothers cars.

as for a paint job, a real quality paint job would cost you several thousand dollars, and would also deminish the value of your car considerably.

Definately not worth it and could cause a lot of hard feelings. Say you trade cars and the XB has a major mechanical issue and is out of warranty. You could be stuck with a bill while your friend is driving around in a working car.

what you want to do is the stupidest thing in the world... no way should you do an even trade with your friend... you're gonna give him a newer and more expensive car and keep paying on it while you get the older car that is less valuable... stupid stupid stupid..
