Test the OEM plug (DC) to find out which wire is positive and which one is negative. Only 2 pins are used, so two of the wires will not be used.

You could guess and check, although I don't know if you could cause any damage. I don't think that you could. . . but it is a gamble. I'm sorry, but it's too cold out right now for me to go outside and pop everything open and find out which wires to use. There are MANY threads out about this (on this site and others) and I suggest you spend the time searching to find out. It's NOT HARD at all. On a scale of 1 to 1000, this gets a 1 for being easy.
